Job Summary

The International Neuropsychological Society (INS), a non-profit professional society whose Administrative Office is hosted by the University of Utah and funded by the INS, seeks an enthusiastic and customer service-oriented individual to join our team. The INS Website Program Coordinator will provide general support to the INS Executive Office as well as coordinating INS website content updates, website maintenance, and web-based meeting and membership activities. The position reports directly to the INS Director of Operations and the INS Executive Director, works closely with other INS colleagues and liaises with the INS Board of Governors, committees and membership, as well as with relevant University offices as needed.


Coordinates and edits INS website content and maintenance. (40%)
1. Liaises with website hosting company (Rampart Hosting) to maintain and expand web services.
2. Organizes and builds new and existing content, updates, and sub-pages keeping information current. Includes writing original content.
3. Oversees online membership database, INS elections and surveys.
4. Uploads on-demand content and continuing education activities.
5. Tracks internal computing needs of office.

A. Supports web-based INS Meeting activities. (25%)
1. Coordinates mobile app contract and all configuration details with TripBuilder Media Inc.; uploads and finalizes all content within the meeting app.
2. Addresses all user issues post-launch of the meeting app.
3. Helps build and manage meeting, registration and continuing education forms and webpages also involving detailed testing before pages go live.
4. Assists with scheduling ancillary groups for the annual meeting and post-meeting registration.
5. Supports ScholarOne abstract submission site, publication design, and gathering of visual media for use online and in print.

B. Coordinates online communications with the INS membership. (15%)
1. Coordinates email blasts integrating written content and images.
2. Supports the INS Newsletter with content management and design layout.
3. Triages incoming emails to INS.

C. Manages user issues related to online member accounts, registration, and other online activities. (10%)

D. Other duties as assigned to support the office, membership and Annual and Mid-year Meetings. (10%)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus one year directly related experience or equivalency required. Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.

The ideal candidate possesses the ability to work semi-independently in a small office, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize deadlines, and interest in working with professionals from different countries.
Must have excellent customer service, communication (oral and writing), and interpersonal skills. Excellent computer skills and experience needed, including word processing, spreadsheet, and/or database software; any familiarity with html coding, WordPress, InDesign, Webex, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, Word, Excel and online content management systems is preferred. Event planning experience a plus.
This position requires annual travel, typically 5-8 days in early February, to assist hosting the North American INS conference.
